When you visit the website, hosting and security systems may process technical request data such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser, device and diagnostic information. The website also stores your language preference and your analytics choice.

If you email us, we process the address, message content and any information you voluntarily provide. Please do not send passwords or full payment-card details.

Technical data is used to deliver the website, maintain security, diagnose failures and prevent abuse on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a reliable public service. Language preference is stored to provide the version you selected.

Vercel hosts and delivers the website and provides privacy-focused Web Analytics. Vercel states that its Web Analytics uses aggregated data, no third-party cookies and a visitor hash that is discarded after 24 hours.

After consent, Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google. Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in our configuration. Providers may process information outside the European Economic Area under applicable safeguards, including adequacy mechanisms or standard contractual clauses where required.

Necessary preferences remain until their stated expiry or until you clear browser data. The language cookie lasts up to one year. The analytics choice remains in local storage until you change it or clear browser data.

Google Analytics user-level and event-level data is retained for no longer than 14 months; standard aggregated reports may remain available for longer under Google's service rules. Security logs are kept only for the period needed for delivery, security and diagnostics under the hosting provider's settings.

Correspondence is retained for the time needed to answer and, where necessary, for the applicable limitation period or a legally required period.
